As a life long Niners fan I can honestly say that I do understand how fans of other teams hate this team. They are brash, arrogant and probably the most obnoxious team in the NFC (with Seattle being a close 2nd). The worst part is that this iteration of the franchise hasn't won squat. But I guess that's the NFL these days, jump up after every play, beat your chest and do a little dance without really achieving anything.

And Boss, if you go by total LGBTG population SF is 4th behind (giggity) New York, LA, and Chicago (although I think SF is still first in % of population). Seattle is 9th in total population and 2nd in %.


And I think I am supposed to put something here about Seattle's cheating secondary but the egg face comment was the extent of my creativity this morning.

I was more referring to the Seattle defense and receiving corps for being arrogant. Wilson avoids controversy like the plague (just watch any interview with the guy, he just strings together bland cliches).

Funny side note: Only in a game between teams in the Bay Area and Pacific Northwest will it be considered valid smack talk to say "The athlete who is employed by the club whom holds my rooting interests is a better humanitarian in his off time than the athlete who is employed by the club you support!"

EDIT: I should also add that I would not be a Kap fan if he were not a Niner. He seemed down to earth (albeit doofy) in the first several interviews I saw with him but you can tell the success has gone straight to his head.
