Setting the 2013 roster

The Wild began pairing down their preseason/training camp roster today, sending eleven players to their Iowa AHL squad to begin the year, another player to the OHL & placing seven on waivers.

Among those who have previously seen time with the big squad, only Darcy Kuemper and Kris Foucault are in a secure spot (strait to Iowa), while Chad Rau, Stephane Veilleux, Carson McMillan and Jonathon Blum could find themselves needing to pack for another city sometime within the next few hours.

All moves that were expected. I hope Rau gets brought back. I loved watching him at the U of M.

Maybe it's time to take a 'gamble' on the 4th line? - This guy makes a reasonable case, IMO.
