Matt Ryan is not an option for me anymore. Doesn't matter the opponent, IMO.

I'll take Barnidge at TE... close though.

Well, I'd side with Fitz as well - but I think this week it will be close between the two. ....

As long as its close with the both scoring around 30 points I'm good with that! :hope:

Man, I would not start Fitz over Ryan this week. Any other week, yes.

Dallas plays and a very slow pace and they are bad agiainst the run, good against the pass. Very few QBs have had top 10 fantasy days against them. Fitz is not a QB1 this week. If Ivory gets it going, you are praying for a couple red zone passes.

Ryan on the other hand gets the Jaguars who have been absolutely destroyed by opposing QBs. I think this is a case where both QBs have a similar floor, but Ryan's upside is much higher because of the matchup.

Matt Ryan's only game over 23 points came in week 2... ironically, against Dallas, in Dallas.

Ryan and the Falcons just stink. Marshall and Decker can over come Dallas, IMO.

You fell victim to one of the classic blunders.

Over the last 7 games, Fitz has averaged 22.1 pts per game. Ryan has averaged 15.0 pts.
That said, Ryan does have a favorable matchup.

The other factor may be, which team is more likely to pack it in with 3 games left?
Jets are fighting for a playoff spot. Boys are done.

I hope you went with Ryan!

Against my own judgement I did go with Ryan and then the Cowboys helped Fitz out by giving up the TD and the big gains late. QB is probably going to be a non-factor for me unless Matt has a big game

14 points is nothing from a QB. 85% chance Ryan does better

still not sold on ryan:suds:

Over his past three games, Ryan has totaled 2 TDs and 5 INTs. He also hasn't topped 300 yards in more than a month. If you take out his name and just look at his box scores, you probably wouldn't even consider using him in Week 15 -- even in two-quarterback systems. Still, with Julio Jones in the mix and a matchup against a Jaguars defense that has allowed quarterbacks to score at least three touchdowns in three of their past five outings, there is some contrarian value to be considered. The rub is that they allowed zero quarterback scores in the other two games during that stretch.

Glad i got Bortles:suds:

See, I think ryan and Bortles are a coin flip. Bortles' matchup is not as good as people think. JAX will score points, so I like Bortles better than Fitz or Eli, but he is a low end QB1 this week in the same neighborhood as Ryan.

here is my Ryan prediction:

275 yards, 2 TDs, 1 INT

Not earth shattering, but good enough.

Umm..... I guess I should have picked up Cousins or Bridgewater, both Fitz and Ryan were bad choices this week

Matt Ryan is no longer a starter in FF. I seriously see him not being drafted in 12 team leagues next year.
