Does anyone deserve to be in the top four right now? Who has earned it at this point?

kind of a fucked up first week for playoff rankings when how many top 10 teams had a bye???

give the top spot to Miami for being gifted a win by the refs.

IMHO, as of right now, only Clemson and ND warrant a top 4...and those aren't real strong cases. Baylor and TCU don't belong yet for sure. The other six are slightly better than Baylor and TCU and only slightly worse than Clem and ND. Not much to separate them.

Well, the top4 is relative to the entire field.

So I think it's perfectly fine for them to name 4 teams for all the dumb people to over-react and meltdown too.

TCU and Baylor have back-loaded schedules. They're both about to get extremely busy

Yep, along with OU and Okie Lite, they all play each other the next few weeks. From what I saw, about 1/2 the top ten have back loaded schedules. IIRC, tOSU, Baylor, TCU, LSU, & Bama are more back loaded than front. Some are about the same and some are much easier on the backside. Sparty, Clem, Stanford and Iowa look about the same. The domer's looks easier.

Oklahoma State been looking skrong on offense. I'm scared of that game.

Beginning of the year I thought Baylor could go anywhere from 8-4 to 10-2.

Going to be a very interesting stretch drive to see who the 4 playoff teams will be, completely wide open now.
