Hmm.... I fly in a game called World War 2 On line. He was in my squad but just kind of vanished. He was an LSU fan too...

Any idea when that was? We thought he was heading off to do some Army stuff (was the last word we had).

Yeah, has to be him. I didn't know him personally, but he seemed like a very nice person. It takes a strong individual to post something so personal like that, for everybody to see.

He had update threads. He passed away February 23, 2011.

MEYERS, Thomas Earl, went to be with his Lord and Savior on February 23, 2011. Born on August 21, 1972, to Theresa Meyers and the late Earl Meyers in Baton Rouge, La., he was a veteran of the United States Navy. He is survived by his wife, Kimberly Meyers; son, Tyler Meyers; daughter, Madelyne Meyers; mother, Theresa Meyers; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Stanley and Pat Efferson; and extended family. Memorial services will be at The House of Prayer, Chesterfield, Va., on Monday, February 28, 2011 from 4 to 5 p.m., services at 5 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Hunter Holmes McGuire VA Hospital, Richmond, Va.

Thanks. Going through his posts. I'm not seeing where he died.

We have some contact information for him. Will try that I think. Odd that the last word we had about 3 years ago was that he was going back on active duty while he was still posting in Tiger Droppings.

Hmm, I don't know if that is the same guy, but I used to play a game in the late 90s/early 2000s called Chain of Command.

There was a dude in that game called Keldar, and he led a regiment (clan) called The 33rd Brigade (shortened to 33b)

I wouldn't put UF in the upper tier as of yet either...the next two weeks will tell the tale with them and if they really are legit. I think Gator fans would be ecstatic to get out of these next to weeks 1-1.
