Notes from Malzhan:

- Carl Lawson most likely out for the year but will try to come back.
- No real news on Marshall except they are evaluating the situation

Now they are reporting Marshall out for the opener against Arkansas. I missed that part so it looks like at least a one game suspension.

They should just let Spurrier host the whole event. The rest is just BS coach speak. Give a cameo to Muschamp, so he can make angry faces .

The Spurrier session should be entertaining especially if the reporters start asking hard questions on his recruits qualifying academically. We should start a pool on which program he will deflect the question too will he dodge by making witty comments about:

Clemson
FSU
Alabama
Auburn
Tennessee
Georgia

He will probably stay away from Florida my thinking is it is most likely Auburn's turn and he will ding us.

I say he bolts right for Saban and Alabama. He loves Saban and has shown this time and time again.

Dude you are truly hardcore if you are going to sit and watch SEC Media Days. I'll listen to it while I work but I have zero desire to watch that crap on TV I'll just follow the big points on Twitter.

Will Muschamp on the new up tempo shotgun spread O: "This is what Driskel was recruited to Florida to do".

I sure hope he has a plan B because right now I'm thinking he has screwed himself.

Muschamp also says "this is the most complete team he's had at Florida".

Damn Will keep expectations low and over deliver not the opposite.

Looks like Stanford and Vandy are trying to reach a deal on scheduling a home and home. Vandy should stick to the Wake Forest of the world.

I am not sure it matters. Will has produce this year. If he can field even a mediocre offense, Florida will be fine.

Remember when you told me Texas' defense was going to be great and I picked them for my fantasy team? Well I'm not falling for that again.

That was a pretty amazing fall. Last year also. Texas easily had one of the best DLs in football, but very little of that actually translated to a good defense. Nothing like being a fan and watching a talented, but undisciplined defense.

I know our schedule sucks but what's wrong with trying to play Stanford? This is a great invite to the SEC schedule bashers.
