With the World Cup finale looming and every soccer fan's attention probably on that. I just wanted to remind everyone that our Seattle Sounders have a rare prime time game on ESPN this Sunday night against our most hated rival the Portland Timber with Dempsey back, Yedlin back, Martins back, Alonso back, and 60,000 + rockin at the Clink

F*** the Timber!

But most importantly

LETS GO SOUNDERS!!!!

By the way, Yedlin and Russell are both at the Ms game tonight to watch King Felix pitch!

Hell yes. CLink is going to be rocking on Sunday.

Send the Limpers doing the bow legged walk of shame twice in a week back down to that landfill between Washington and Cali.

Great sign. Gonna be nice seeing everyone back, that Whitecaps game was just difficult to watch.

I'll be at this game with my family. Should be a live crowd and a great atmosphere.

I'm the biggest Messi fan so this almost feels like Superbowl morning for me

Who are you guys rooting for today, Germany or Argentina?

Is the MLS going to have ANY decent Refs at this game or is the League going to "RIG" this match as well?

GO TIMBERZ!

Silly beav. Everyone knows Seattle is the best team in the league until the playoffs start. Damn team hasn't delivered in MLS post season since they came into the league.

With Deuce and Yedlin back you have no chance today.

Wonder why Sigi has Martins on the bench. Maybe he'll be a second half insert

Sounders look like a completely different team with Martins in there and Dempsey playing higher

Great game, especially 2nd half when they cranked up the pressure.

Limpers with only 3 SOG for the night. Left oinkin from the boinkin and doing the bowlegged walk of shame back down to Portlandia twice in a week.

Hell of a game and just an awesome evening.

The sunset and the overall view was nothing short of spectacular.

Missing in this picture was how close we really were to the Timber fans. Obnoxious bunch of assholes if ever there were, but what do you expect from rivals on the road, especially from the state of Oregon. I'm sure it was a long car ride back home for them.

This town loves it's soccer team. No doubt about that.

Name me any other city in the US that could pack 64K into a stadium for a soccer game.

Then consider the Mariners were playing the same day against a division rival and only managed 40k. So the soccer team has more support right now than the baseball team that is still very much at least in the hunt for a wild card.

That's not really a fair comparison considering that CenturyLink holds 68,000 and Safeco only holds 47,000. The Sounders are gonna win that comparison every time when the whole stadium is opened up like it was last night. Besides, the Sounders have been more successful in recent years than the M's have been, so there's bound to be more support for them.
