I have believed that Pete can fix any issues in the defense but it's just not looking that way this year.

Mmmm I think it goes beyond the DC. Several defensive players are not on their A game, pretty obvious. Let's hope they snap out of it.

Somebody should do a comparison of minutes played for the offense and defense this season and last. I still think the offense plays a part also because when they really need it, they can't string together first downs and close out the game either. Way too many 3 and outs.

Surprisingly, they're 7th in the NFL in time of possession. And you would have to think they would be tops in the league if they could sustain some drives in the 4th qtr. But considering that they're better in that area this year than they were in 2013 (when they were 12th), the argument that they are on the field too much doesn't really hold water.
