Caught the 9th inning. Pretty impressive considering the lineup.
I was watching that and when it was clear it wasn't the Sox night I was rooting for the no-hitter. But I see it as tainted. I always thought an error occurred when a routine play is botched. That was far from a routine play. A tough play for sure that should have been caught but that was a home cooked ruling to keep the no-no intact IMO.
You're a bandwagon Red Sox fan anyways, so don't take it so hard.
Yeah, since 1967 dumb ass. One day you will make a charge that is accurate but today is not that day. Trust me I caught a ton of shit from my Orioles friends from the 70's until 2004.
I'm sure that actually happened.
Want to try that idea that I'm a black guy again? That worked out well.
WHo said you were a black guy? Your personality is way too dull to ever be mistaken for a black guy.
You have me mistaken for someone else, bandwagon boy.
Agree and it didn't hit the tip of his glove or webbing....if so, a case could be made....It hit the pocket/heel of the glove, he has to catch that.....Even Timmy Lupus makes that play.....I think it was the right call. The infielder didn't look like he was running that hard, and most major league infielders should be able to make that catch. Plus, the ball hit his glove. He should have caught that one.
Questionable call there, probably some home cooking. That's a hit most of the time.
But regardless, it still counts, and congrats to Manaea and the A's.

Yeah that was an error, not that hard of a catch... Easily should have been caught imo, a major leaguer makes that play 99.99% of the time
IDK, the ball was coming in directly over his head. IMO that's just well-hit.
