I wouldn't touch him for a 1st but I would be seriously considering a 2nd and change for him if I was the Rams.

Vick doesn't make that much sense. He's apparently fine being a back up and with his injury history, do you really want him facing the defenses in that division? If you want a QB, I'd trade for Kirk Cousins provided Washington isn't asking a shit ton for him. Or if you want to go cheap, maybe ride it out with Christian Ponder (who I'm sure the Vikes will dump) and see what happens.

The Rams signed Shaun Hill from Detroit this offseason.

He is as good if not better than Sanchez, Vick, and a host of other failed starters. So unless The Rams make a play for Cousins or Mallet I see them just looking for a dependable backup.

And yes from watching Shaun Hill the last few years he is really a dependable backup that you can count on. For a whole season may be iffy but again Sanchez? Vick? Prostate Exam?

It looks like a need to start a thread called 'Kirk Cousins sucks and I hope we don't trade for him'. Cousins was 5.5 YPA last year. Bradford in his worst year with less talent around him was 6.0 YPA. Gabbert, the worst QB in the league, was 5.6 YPA. Lets not pretend that Cousins is good.

Vick into a QB next year makes a ton of sense. Rams GM and Coach will be trying to keep their job. Snead, Rams GM, was a Scout for the Falcons when they drafted Matt Ryan. Not sure if that factors into things. Jeff Fisher hasn't really had a QB since McNair, really.

What do you think of Austin Davis? I saw him play in college several times and thought he was pretty good.
