My bad it's the Brady fat head collection and living in NY that occupies your time.
Hahahaha
I just LOVE how many people are desperate for the Pats dynasty to end!!
Haha.
Smart people know they will never stop winning that division
Super Bowls wins are a thing of the past tho
Don't be youDont be you
Montana went on to lead the Chiefs to the playoffs
I think Peyton won an MVP and a SB with Denver
And Favre led a 15-1 was it? Vikings team
Even the great ones have to know when its time to move on
Not Tom, he demands they trade the future of the franchise
Cause hes an "Insecure Faggot"
Maybe this is one reason no one on this board can take you seriously.Thats why he's my boy

I agree and the situation put the Pats in a tough spot. 1. Retain the Greatest QB of all time for another year or two at most. 2. Pay the heir apparent and trade the GOAT. I think anyone who thinks rationally sees the dilemma here. The play of TB 12 has not dropped off, the SB loss was not because he failed the defense failed. So the Pats chose to honor the GOAT and they now have to love with that.
The only thing I find odd in all this is there lack of pursuit of a QB this draft. Maybe they have their eye on something down the road.
Careful that really stings Dirt. Buffalo made the playoffs while his beloved Gnats had THREE wins.Well when you play:
Dolphins
Bills
oh shit and the Jet's
You're looking 6 wins right out the gate!
They did draft Danny Etling. Who knows if he'll ever play a down in the NFL? Or who knows if he's the next Brady? He was selected only 20 picks later then where Tom Terrific was selected.Who? Brian Hoyer? Yeah ok LOL.

Also why doesn't anyone believe NE can pick up a quality FA starting QB when TB does retire? NE will have the $. Yet everyone seems to dismiss that? Be careful haters it could be your starting QB as none of us know when TB will hang them up? Oh yeah and there is also this thing called future drafts.
Some people's children.
Why do they need a QB for the immediate future? They have the reigning MVP.If they wanted a QB for the immediate future they would have moved up to get Baker Mayfield or one of the other QB's early on in this year's draft. I haven't seen much tape on Etling to warrant any sort of comparison to Brady at all.

I never said Etling will even make the roster? So no there is no comparing the two of them. Why would you?
If this is Brady's last season NE will have the option to draft a QB and or go the FA route or stick with Hoyer.
NE had a lot more needs to address then moving up to take an unproven QB. I for one and glad they didn't.
Trade him to the Niners for a second rounder like they did with Garopolo. he'll fit right in with Jimmy G.
What and have him sit for potentially three years? Then NE will be back where they just were with the JG decision. That QB will want to get paid and play. Where as losing leverage of having a 1st round pick later you can tie up on a rookie deal for 5 years or even an early round pick tied up for four years. Where you can use that money to pay others. To groom him behind Brady?

Again NE HAD BIGGER HOLES TO FILL IN THIS DRAFT.

POTY.
100% correct!
That’s why I posed my question to Dirt and why he was smart enough to avoid answering it.
Keeping Jimmy G meant not ONLY getting rid of Brady (who had just won the league MVP and led the team to the SB) it ALSO meant making sacrifices (cap space wise) elsewhere. That’s just dumb.
Dropping a QB playing at an MVP level AND losing cap space and other players in the process all to keep jimmy G? I’ll say it again... dumb
