What's the deal with Jason McCourty? He'd be a nice CB to pick up.

I think Cook is going to be there at 43 and the Eagles are going to pass on him. Just a hunch. I would not be surprised if Awuzie or Quincy Wilson even though he had a slow time (explained by injury) Teez Tabor. is the pick. Some really good corners still sitting there.

The other thing that would not surprise me at all if they pull of a deal for a corner in the next day or so. A team that grabs a corner who they think can start may let go of a veteran. I don't think it will be anyone to write home about but that could be an option.
I know this will jinx it but I really hope the Eagles dont pass on the corner talent if King, Awuzie or another top corners are gone then fine RB or other but hopefully they dont wait.

After our #43, there's no way we wait till #99 to pick. Look for a trade up involving Kendricks and/or Kelce and maybe one of our #4s.

Kendricks will be traded. Schwartz doesn't want him. Gone!

Out of the blue prediction: Jordan Matthews gets dealt for a 3rd round pick. He's on the final year of his deal and the Eagles may want a "quicker" slot guy for Wentz which they can get in this draft.

I've been saying that for a few weeks. But I think it'll be a move up from 99+Matthews. For me the guy to replace him would be Switzer who we could grab with one of the 4ths. There are a bunch of good slot options in this draft.

I was thinking something similar: It would be good to use Kendricks and Kelce and whoever else doesn't fit to move up a couple spots in the 2nd or 3rd to get the guys we want. I think there are some good corners and running backs available and it would be great if we could hit on one of each.

I think Seattle pulls the trigger on him, they have been taken players with character issues as of late, and producing with them....
Seattle and Indy are the 2 teams I figured would take him.

But someone else has to want him . . . and at his price tag. He might be gone but he might not be traded. We'll see. Hopefully they can get something for him.

Maybe they deal Mathews for a young corner (Hmm Kyle Fuller of the Bears) and a pick something like a 3 or 4th in 2018. I would entertain that.

Why are we suggesting trading Matthews as if we have such a great set of receivers? Alshon is only signed for one year. No one knows if how much Torrey Smith has left in the tank. Agholor and DGB have not performed. I'd rather let keep Matthews to help Wentz develop and let Matthews walk after this year than trade him to pick up an additional pick or unproven player.

I'm starting to like Budda Baker as an option. If the Mathieu comparison is legit, sign me up.

I don't think the Eagles want to keep him past this year. His stats say he is going to get PAID in free agency. However, he really is a slot reciever. I would rather use the money to keep Jeffrey and use Mathews to address another area like CB. Just my opinion.

To me, it's not worth it to risk ending up with Alshon and a bunch of bums for 2017. It'd be a disservice to Wentz. The most important thing for this franchise is his development. I just don't think it makes sense to take an established weapon away from Wentz at this point, regardless of the future cap situation or the complete lack of skill at CB.

I think it would be crazy to trade Matthews. He can be a decent role player, he was just being asked to do too much without a true #1 or #2 receiver. As a #2, or hopefully a #3, he will be fine.

We aren't going to keep a slow slot guy with questionable hands for that long. Especially as he gets more expensive. This is a great draft to get a slot guy: Stewart, Henderson, Taylor, Switzer,...

My top 4 targets here are Awuzie, King, Cook and Mixon ... in no particular order. I'm sure all 4 will be gone by our pick

Melifonwu and Quincy Wilson would probably drop in after that. Cam Robinson at this point is also a guy to seriously consider if he drops into our laps.

Ohh and Sidney Jones :)

I would like to see the Eagles grab a CB. However would not be surprised to see them grab an OT. What is the best player available at OT?
