4 straight years of game 7 home losses for Anaheim and they led 3-2 in all 4 of those series. Ouch.

To be fair, he was probably the best Ducks player in this series. Hey Corey "Zero Goals" Perry, I'm looking at you.

Wife is very upset, tears and all.
I tried to say I was sorry.
She pointed out that I had the ducks losing in my playoff bracket in round 2

cue the stupid James Kneel penalty

In the lexicon of James Kneel penalties, that one shouldn't even have registered.

Am I the only one hoping for a game seven OT with Emrick announcing the game?

No, I can only take 3 periods max of "Shunted one that is off the mark, now spirited on along".

That was fantastic, right up until Forsberg got bored.

I couldn't figure out what he was doing. They could have easily killed another minute or so. My biggest worry was one of the pass backs was going to go in.

When they showed Corey Perry after his miss, when he yelled "SHIT!". Mrs 43 looked at him and said "He looks like Nora".

Nora is my eldest daughter's best friend from Kindergarten.

Corey Perry looks like a five year old girl. Well, she's not 5 anymore. You get the picture.

Did my heart good to see Johansen go through a handshake line from the happy side.

you could be an NHL announcer with insight like that
Thanks. I am just waiting until someone from NBCSportsnet posts or tweets something offensive and then I am sending in my resume.

I think you meant Fowler.
Leafs need a right-handed d-man.

Fowler is also on a pretty good contract whereas I think both Vatanen and Hampus will hold out for at least Dougie Hamilton money. Just gonna be tough to accommodate that and then go out and get other pieces they need to improve the team.

I really want to like the Preds, I do. It's just...Riberio and Neal make that hard. I sorta felt bad for Neal on that penalty, because it wasn't close to a penalty, but his reputation now proceeds him, and it was well earned. That hit did make this great though:

Right handed. Ok, take Fowler and Bieksa then.

You have enough goodies. Quit being greedy or BB/BT/BB&T will gift you with an Engelland extension and sign Polak this offseason to boot.

You're right, the Flames need more skill on the top 2 lines. Maybe that can start on Saturday if the ping pong balls drop the right way.
