Doob's view
Rangers are really struggling right now, but a lot of that might have to do with their schedule. They have gone up against a lot of good Western Conference teams on the road. Although their road trip continues, the next 3 games are against teams who are also off to slow starts. The key to tonight will be the special teams IMO. Capitals have a very efficient power play and keeping the Capitals from having a man advantage is probably the most important thing for the Rangers. Based on last season as well as the playoffs, I feel the Rangers have matched up well with the Capitals in the past, so Doob picks the Rangers to win 4-3.
