Hard to imagine 3 guys in their professional athletic prime all dying within a few years of each other and even harder when they were all at the same position of the same sport. Don't know if that's ever happened before in any sport.

there have been a few others the past decade,

another Angel, Luis Valbeuna 3B died down in the DR in the winter.

Oscar Tavares, young OF for STL, car wreck with GF down in the DR (kinda like Ventura)

and, going back to 1989, Donnie Moore and his famous suicide.

and will be a dark cloud over his memory and life, like Jose Fernandez being all coked up speeding at 3am on his jet boat; wish these star athletes would learn from one another about these dangers.

true, and Josh left a bar hammered and was driving 100mph at like .24 or something,

Wow, look it that- it was taken down. I should’ve posted the text. It was a lot of the same descriptions of shock and grief, but also provided an account of someone entering the hotel room that noticed a very large number of prescription pill bottles.

Yeah, odds are it will be known soon.
