Movies never matchup with the book really.. I usually will read the book before movie. Not always!

I've only seen the movie once, quite a long time ago, but I've read the book at least half a dozen times. Really is one of my faves. From what I recall, it was a decent rendition, but the book is where it's at.

I read all the Tom Clancy books but "The Hunt for Red October" was the only one that translated well on film.

The movie was pretty true to the book, but as all movie adaptations it lacks the depth of detail from the book.

Movies never matchup with the book really..

No Country For Old Men was really fucking close - particularly the dialogue, it was practically word for word.
