So does the TE. Losing Higbee and Doughty were huge keys to that explosive offense. But they got some great RB's, especially with Leon Allen cleared to come back this year after getting hurt week 2 last year against ULL.

That hold killed Rice. WKU looking aggressive on defense so far... I like it.

This offense needs to open up the playbook a little bit. Would've preferred the screen there on 3rd and short instead of trying to run it up the gut.
It sucks for Leon Allen that Wales has made the most of his opportunity to take over as the starting RB.

Nice hit there to cause the incompletion. Not putting a lot of pressure on the QB right now. Also looks like penalties are killing a lot of Rice's drives right now.

Speaking of penalties, stupid penalty on Western with that block in the back.

And then a flea flicker that works like a charm. This is the offense that I'm used to seeing.

Furby is apparently #2 on the depth chart. WKU is deep at RB.

Speaking of Brohm, I was definitely expecting him to take the UVA job this year. I wasn't expecting Bronco to come in, but glad he did. But if he takes this team to around a 10-2 regular season record again, a P5 team will definitely come calling this offseason.

Off topic, damn Louisville has come to play tonight, up 49-0 over Charlotte still in the second quarter.

Wow was he wide open for the easy touchdown!

It sucks that WKU can't draw good crowds with these good teams because they deserve to play in front of big crowds. People down in Bowling Green definitely care more about UK basketball than anything else unfortunately.

Are you talking about the 2 Smuckers crustables mascots? That's because there's a Smuckers plant the next town over in Scottsville, KY. Big Red is the official mascot.

Not a good drive by the defense. Let up some big gains and penalties. Rice made it look easy. Western needs to find a way to slow Rice's no huddle offense.

Glad to see that Fant name is still alive and well at WKU after George graduated a couple of years ago after playing four years for the basketball team.
