As good as that game was it's tough for me not to first think about how it got moved from Mexico because of flammable field

Meh....compared to today...sure. 1994 was the first year where the rules were added/re-inforced/etc. that drastically made a difference since the major 1978 rule changes. I'd even say your example of Mia/NE isn't even the best Marino shootout game he's ever had.
