Just got official word from SB that Rees has been cleared to practice and should be the starter this upcoming week ...

I just don't want to see him re-injured because they bring him back too fast. Not for a game we "should" be able to win without him.

Reports say it was basically a shoulder stinger that he's going to try to work during this weeks' practice. If it is still bothering him Friday ... the decision will be made ...

We should be able to beat Air force without Rees but there is not guarantees. Rees playing doesn't mean he has to pass that often and shouldn't have to against a much smaller defensive line of Air Force. I want Rees out there for at least the threat of throwing. If Hendrix plays, everyone knows we are running.

If he isn't healthy he shouldn't play, they should beat Air Force with Hendrix passing the ball a little and running the ball for the most part.

I will digress by saying this could be a game where Zaire could get some snaps ... just to see. I wouldnt mind seeing a sample ... as long as he doesn't fuck up.
