Ahhh....I remember this. But my point and yours are somewhat different in that you were "correcting Sir Crawler" re: reasons to watch this team, whereas I'm looking thinking about the positives of making the post season.

Same-same points of paying attention, just different as to the end result perhaps.

True......But it sure would be nice to let some young guys smell/taste/feel the difference the PS offers vs the regular season IMO.

And frankly, I don't see us making the WC, which is fine.

But experience can't be borrowed, stolen or bought. There's only one way to get it and its at the "School of Hard Knocks."

Capt Cole is really pitching some excellent baseball. 40 pitches through 3, with no hits and 3 K's. Pretty hard to beat this.

This is the Cole we traded for to get us to and through the postseason. It's nice, but late.

I'm sorry but Choo trying to bunt to move the runners into scoring position is BS for a team which is 5 games under .500 this late in the season. Bunting for a hit, fine. But moving them up is crap IMO.

There's no question that trade was the right move. I put it on par with the Cliff Lee trade. We just didn't get the same end result.
