Did I read that right?

I'm sitting at work checking on game updates....

Lackey went nine innings, the Sox only had one hit, the score was 0-0...

Uehara gives up a 10th inning sayanora and the Twins go up 1-0.

Then, Ortiz & Napoli hit back-to-back homers to win the game in the bottom of the 10th?

Yes. It was a great game.

Best part? Uehara gets the win, not Lackey.

I love the little 'after-series-stat-oddities'...

Some one researched and discovered that the Sox hadn't won three in a row without scoring more than two runs in a game since 1990!

Yep, the year Oakland's Bob Welch won the Cy Young award for going 27-6 with a 2.95 ERA. A very excellent year for Welch with a 125 ERA+ and 3.0 WAR - 127 SO & only 77 BB!

(Oh, Rocket went 21-6 with a 1.93 ERA, 209 SO & 54 BB. Yep, that was good for a 211 ERA+ and a 10.6 WAR.)

Wins are awesome! Congrats on your win last night, Koji! Fine job!
