I have mostly pleasant memories of the time I spent in Colorado decades ago, so our having clinched the division title already won't be the only reason it won't matter much to me if we lose this series.
Colorado's scheduled starting pitcher is 3d year man Tyler Chatwood, who was 6-11 his rookie year
with the Angels, 12-11 since then with the Rockies. He comes into tonight with a season WHIP of
1.486 with 3.5 BB/9 innings, both of which are improvements over his career numbers.
Starting for us will be Jake Peavy, season WHIP 1.074 with only 2.3 BB/9 and an 8.7 season K/BB ratio.
Sounds like justification for a vCash bet on our side, doesn't it?
