That's two straight solid outings for Clay, who has a 2.48 ERA in his last 9 starts after his ERA went north of 6.00 in early May. Team is 4-1 in his last 5 starts. His fWAR is now 6th in the American League

I'll fix that. I'll put him back in my FB team rotation.

He'll get lit up like a Christmas tree.

Welp, The Red Sox won a game and sports radio is claiming they have turned a corner and will start winning. Which is HILARIOUS!

Bucholz actually didn't suck, which means he will get rocked in his next outing.

Buchholz has a 3.16 ERA in his last 13 starts. I don't know why people are bitching about him. His ERA's inflated by one atrocious start (9 ER in 3+ IP).

In actuality, he's a better pitcher than he ever was, even in 2010/13 (he highly overachieved those years). His strikeouts are way up, his walk rate's down, he's got a solid ground ball rate, etc. He's been hurt by a high BABIP (something pitchers have little (if any) control over) and bad defense.

Health has always been the concern with him though.
