I'm really not sure why they are after Schultz so hard unless they know they are losing one of their current TE to transfer.

Other than Welch of course. I mean why would you need more than Niklas, Koyack, Smythe, and Heuerman plus the two new recruits that is plenty of depth.

They'll have 5 if things stay as they are. So unless one is getting moved to defense or O-Line or something then it is really doesn't make sense.
