RBI question???

1 out. Bryant beat out the double play when a run scored, and he was given an rbi.

0 outs. Hendricks didn't beat out the double play, run scored from third, and announcers say he does NOT get an rbi.

What say y'all?

Yeah, I think unless it's a sacrifice the player doesn't get a RBI if he grounds out.

That's not correct. Runner on third with one out. Batter hits a slow roller to second, and is thrown out, but the runner scores then the hitter gets an RBI.
