I don't see how they can put the Patriots anywhere other than #1. It completely flies in the face of the excuse-making *Brady fans and their perennial shout of "he needs receivers!"

Not sure how you can leave the Broncos off the list. They are the only team that had 2 receivers in the past 2 years that have finished top-15 in most WR categories. I know the rest of the group is a bit of an unknown but for the most part it is about the top-2 guys on any team when it comes to the WR core. I know that DT had a bit of a down year but a down year for him is still a 1300 yard season. I wouldn't put the Broncos first by any means but I would put them over Jacksonville at this point.

If we're just talking WR's, NE is kind of a blatant homer-esq pick, imo.

Seattle, Arizona, Denver, Jacksonville, Oakland, Green Bay, Chicago, Washington, Dallas, and Pittsburgh are better, imo.

With TE's included it's a lot more favorable argument, but it's kind of a baiting tagline for an article. Kind of typical from G-Rosenthal.

Gronk, Bennett, Edelman, Hogan and Amendola?

I like that lineup.

But yes Pitt should be at least spoken about and in my mind there is no doubt about Arizona in the top slot.

Obviously the NE pick must be because of TEs. Gronk, Bennett, and Harbor are the best TE group in the league.

How are the Steelers not on there? They have the best WR in the league (Brown) plus the best young WR in the league (Bryant) plus Markus Wheaton. Is it because Bryant is suspended?

Don't poo poo this, there is one fan base using it as a crutch to support their dreams.

Homer-esq and hammer. I'm actually suprised hammer hasn't banned you for comments like this.
Not sure I would include Seattle and Washington though. Especially Seattle most of their fans have stated for years all they have is pedestrian receivers. Baldwin had a GREAT 5 game stretch and Lockette may become very good but right now I can't agree with your choice.

Pittsburgh should be in the top 4 if you ask me.

The TE really pushes the Jets and Broncos off the list I think. Broncos are going with Heurman who they like, but hasn't produced a great year since high school in 2010 (had 23 catches in his best college season with 4 TD's). Jets are in a similar boat. As pure WR groups I'd put both in my top 4 though.

Jets have 2 guys with 1000 yards and double digit TD's 6 times in the last 8 combined seasons for them (past 4 years).

Of that group there, I'll go Jags. Less experience, sure, injury worries, sure. But the only team with 2 WR's and a TE I wouldn't be surprised if any of them are top 3 at their position next year.

My projection for next year if we are including TE would probably be:

1. Pittsburgh
2. Seattle
3. New England
4. Jacksonville
5. Arizona

If/When Carson Palmer goes down, those Arizona receivers are going to vanish in thin air

Just pulled up last years NFL.com story on that

5. Giants
4. Lions
3. Colts
2. Broncos
1. Packers

So seeing as last years group went 0-4 at making this years after seeing their on-field performances last season, I think taking this ranking with a big grain of salt is easy to do.

Antonio Brown and....
????

Jesse James?
Wheaton?
Darrius Heyward-Bey??
I might be overrating their Ladarius Green signing now that I'm looking at it. The upside is there for Steelers to be #1 but maybe I should be bumping them down a bit

As far as depth the Redskins should be there. Adding Vernon Davis and drafting Doctson should solidify this depth. The Steelers are like the Cowboys they have one guy and that's it.

Really? Garçon hasn't done anything in years, unproven rookie, washed up Davis, and a rookie? What am I missing

I Like Pitt's receivers Brown, Bryant Heywardd-Bey and Wheaton run 24,23, and 22 MPH tough to defend
