Ranked Teams Playing Thursday 12 March 2014

A bunch of Top 25 teams are playing today. There is one game where ranked teams square off and that's UConn vs Memphis.

What other ranked teams goes home tonight? It's a one day thread....Which ranked teams(s) do you believe will lose today. And why.

Well, logically, Memphis or UConn, since they are the only two ranked teams facing a ranked team (eachother)...LOL

I think most of the other ranked teams should win farely easily.

If any of the teams I would think Kansas without Embid would be my pick. Baylor also may upset Oklahoma.

Losing today - UConn, OSU & SMU.

#19 Memphis vs #21 UConn - I'm picking Memphis in this one cause they are home.

#10 KU vs OSU - I'm going with OSU for the win cause Smart is playing well and Embiid is out.

#25 Southern Meth vs Houston - Houston got better as the season went on. Lost by 4 @ SMU. It's a long haul for both teams, so just a gut feeling.

I agree. KU was one I picked.

I can't get a feel for Bayor....but gave that game a thought too.

Which one wins between Memphis/UConn?

I think Memphis because they are at home.

But I want UConn because they don't scare me as much on offense, and also because I think Kilpatrick got royally screwed out of the POY in the AAC by Napier, who doesn't do nearly as much as Napier on defense, and when you look at the numbers across the board, especially in the 8 games against the other top 4 teams in the league, SK blows away Napier.

Would love to see a chance at a game for Kilpatrick and Napier to go (kind of) head-to-head.

#25 Southern Meth vs Houston - Houston got better as the season went on. Lost by 4 @ SMU. It's a long haul for both teams, so just a gut feeling.

Now that Houston is healty, they have a really, really good offense. I think they have 3 or 4 guys who average double digits, so they have a lot of options on offense.

The problem with Houston is...they have no clue what defens is, or how to play it.

Good luck today with your boys Luke. Wake is a strange team. For their record, the play good ball sometimes. I don't think this is a walk in the park for Pitt.

Thanks. It will be a tough matchup. Devin Thomas is a beast inside and Coron Williams had a nice game yesterday.

Guys don't sleep on Utah beating us. They are, without a doubt, the worst matchup for us in the PAC. Yes, a few other teams beat us, but I think what we have seen out of them the last three times we have played (3 close victories going back to last year when they weren't very good, 2 of 3 in Tucson) is that they play really well vs us.

That being said, if Aaron Gordon goes for 17 like he has averaged in the 5 games since he fouled out @ Utah, the Utes have no chance.

Only the Big12 teams really have a chance and I think all of them end up winning.

Then in the top 25 match up game I'll take uconn on the road.

The other games no way do upsets happen. Ranked teams are too good and the other teams suck.

good day for hoops...high interest in Zona, KU and OK games. Would love to see Nova fall (SH is up by 8 at the half...ISU/KSU looks to be a burner so far.
