Trade him and bring Huff up.Nate Lowe has a .970 OPS over the last 30 games
At this point let's see what Lowe does the next month or so. If he's still on a hot streak and has raised his batting average to .300? I'd keep him. Not sure I want him playing 1B but maybe 2023 has Lowe at DH with Jung at 1B.Trade him and bring Huff up.
We may see it getting crowed with all the options we have. Nice problem to have.At this point let's see what Lowe does the next month or so. A majority concensusIt's always fun reading the comments from before a 10 run game happens... though I don't see any reason why Culberson is in there over Smith myself, hindsight or not
For sure. I will say that at some point I believe Texas will need to take advantage of having an excess of talented infielders in a trade for a top of the rotation pitcher. We may see it getting crowed with all the options we have. Nice problem to have.
That is why I thought trading Lowe might land us a good pitcher since his slash line is high. For sure. I will say that at some point I believe Texas will need to take advantage of having an excess of talented infielders in a trade for a top of the rotation pitcher.
I really like Perez and wouldn't mind seeing him sign a two- to three year extension and Gray seems to be pretty good, but I'm not sold on Dunning as anything more than a #5 starter, not sure what to make of Otto. I know Leiter and Winn are presumably going to be part of this rotation within the next two years but I don't want to just plan the future rotation around them, though, in case one of them doesn't pan out.

I mean, if he can help fetch a Frontline starting pitcher, then I'd definitely be open to that, for sure. That is why I thought trading Lowe might land us a good pitcher since his slash line is high.
I do wish they'd try him out at least.I'm wondering why they don't want to stretch Burke out. He looks like a potential rotation starter
