I have a laptop and a wi-fi connection that I'd like to use to watch games on MLB.com, but the reception that I get is very poor. I've taken the laptop to the place I bought it and I've seen it get great reception there. I also get good reception at home on my PC when I use a wired connection, so I'm thinking that the trouble I'm having is due to my router. Any thoughts or suggestions are appreciated.

Yea, time for a new router

Could try plugging into your modem first to make sure its not a problem with your service

If you are getting good reception at the store and with the wired at home then it is either interference with other wireless devices (including other routers in your neighborhood) or location of the router. Download and install NetStumbler to check the performance of your wireless, it may be something as simple as selecting a different channel on the router.
