... Excerpts from an email that I just recieved:

For the 2010 season everything stays essentially the same. For a donation of $2,200, you are considered an Honorable Coach with the right to purchase 10 tickets and two reserved parking spaces. Four of the 10 tickets are in section ED (referred to as Sideline Seatback) and the other six in in ND (endzone seatback). Of course, in addition to this donation to the Nittany Lion Club, the game day tickets and two reserved parking spaces are purchased separately.

Beginning in 2011, the required Nittany Lion Club donation for the seats in ED (seatback) is $2,000 per seat per year. The seats in ND (seatback) will be $400 per seat per year. Thus, to purchase the exact same seats in 2011 (and thereafter) it will require a Nittany Lion Club donation of $10,400 per year (instead of the $2,200 per year that we have been paying)

-bottom line is a $8,200 increase on 10 tickets in total..

-Holy Shnikes, looks like we are planning on shelling out some cash for a new coach in the near future.....

yes, but... the transfer of the particular tickets in ED would require a one time donation of $2,000 per seat transferred (max 6, min 2) for a total of $8,000. The ND seats would cost up to $6,000 to transfer. Also whoever recieves the tix must have at least 200 Nittany Club points at $50 per point... which would be a one time or accumulative donation of $10,000.... Its freaking expensive!!!!!

It may not be the same for all seats... And I hope not!! These ones are actual chairs, not the bench seating. 4 of them are right in the middle of the senior student section in ED and the others are in the 4th row of the upper deck in the North End.
