Of those, I would probably eliminate AF, UConn, Rice and SMU for consideration.

No disrespect intended to Memphis, but when we are saying 'what a missed opportunity the Big 12 passing on them' what does that say about the schools being considered?

I'm not surprised that Memphis was passed over (if the supposed list is accurate); what stuns me is that SMU, Rice, Tulane & Colorado St. are still in the running.
