Not really.

The funny part is that I've been wrong about the win/loss record of nearly every individual series over that three month stretch. It's just that the errors have been evenly distributed.

August will be more telling with series vs. The Cards, Braves, Nats, and dodgers.

Affeldt is not allowed anywhere near sharp objects this year. He has been the most consistent guy out of the pen. If that curve keeps snapping and the splitter keeps fooling righties, he could be the savior this August.
