If it's any consolation I have Nebraska coming back strong but not until Frost gets his guys in there and they have his system down. Nebraska gets bowl eligible this year and after this season is when the Cornhuskers start to shine.

They have to make a B1G move this year as this is the easiest schedule we have for a few years at least.

My bookie has Nebraska Total Reg Season wins at 8. I’m very tempted to take the over. But they will need to win every game except OSU, Wisconsin and Iowa. All three of those are at home and I believe two of them they can. Still I really wish the line was 7.5

I was going to list a few also-rans but didn't. Syracuse Pitt, Miami, UVA maybe VT. This is such a mismatched conf. right now there's Clemson, then who?
The SEC was that way for a couple of years, but UGA has stepped forward and Florida is coming.

It sure looks like the ACC isn't up to the depth of the others. Clemson would be the best in most of the other conferences but the gap wouldn't be near as big to the next tier of teams. JMO

I used to think a team is only as good as the teams you play week in and week out. I'm beginning to think that is a bunch of crap though. If a team has the ability to go toe to toe with anyone from any conference, you can coast a little during the regular season instead of having a war every week. Then you are a lot fresher for that "toughie" than the "toughier" may be by then.

After reading that post it is obvious I didn't word it word it worth a damn. Sorry about that. I'm old and already had three drinks which is two more than my limit.
