Tonight was the 2016 Orange Bowl. While I was still new on tHoop, this game was a lot of fun with the Michigan fans that were/still are here on the board. Peppers went down with an "injury" right before the game and Butt left early. It's been a lot of fun watching, even though I know the result

That was a great game and an awesome albeit painful 4th quarter. I felt good until you guys had that kickoff return. Michigan defense played pretty well for the most part but they got torched badly on several plays. Cook is just a monster.

My favorite Michigan games:

2005 Penn State: Great 4th quarter with an incredible finish.

2016 Wisconsin: Defensive struggle between two of the best defenses in the country. Michigan did miss some opportunities and had a few missed field goals, but held on with an amazing interception.

2011 Notre Dame: Came back from 24-7 to score the winning touchdown with 2 seconds remaining.

2003 Ohio State: Michigan's last win over a ranked Ohio State.

2004 Michigan State: Braylon Edwards.

2008 Capital One Bowl (Florida): Lloyd Carr's final game. Surprise upset over a pretty heavily favored Florida team.

2000 Orange Bowl: Tom Brady

That one game thread where the Texas and Nebreska fans were yelling at each other and they wasn't even playing against one another. Full blown yelling lol.

Penn State?

I guess that's a big game for a team that has done nothing since our great grandparents were children but in reality it wasn't because of what happened the following week.

I think it counts. I mean in 2000 LSU beat Tennessee the week after losing to freaking UAB. After years of irrelevance, it was still one of the greatest wins I have ever witnessed. LSU has won bigger games since then, but knowing what the program was in the 90’s made it special.

Isn't that what every game thread (d)evolves into? Same with Oregon fans and AlaskaFag.

Iowa State: Mizzou @ Iowa State in 1996 was my favorite Cyclone Game of all-time. Beautiful late September day. Exciting Game (ISU won 45-31), and Troy Davis ran for 378! It was my first game back in Ames after moving out of state the year before. Win-Win-Win!

Favorite gamethread: Michigan with a great win...
I assume you are referring to the 2007 game @ Michigan? If so, I saw that on TV in a post-game (Alabama @ Vanderbilt) bar in Nashville close to Campus. Everybody, and I mean everybody in the bar was rooting for Oregon! Funny how things are when they are in a time-bottle.

I went to that game. Game was over at halftime. 100,000 people sitting on their hands. Good time for sure.

No, this was the game thread for the game Michigan had the previous week.

@belcherboy created a legend.
