Selig needs to take a valuable lesson from David Stern... dragging out the postseason kills the mood.

There is no conceivable reason why the Wild Card games need to be played on separate days, and there is no reason the LDS shouldn't start the next day.

I don't like the one game "play-in"... I'd still like to see a three game wild card series in one city starting the day after the season ends. You could fit that into the current schedule and start the Division series at the same time. (No need to stagger NL & AL)...

The AL Division winners get four days off to watch one game?

Yeah I just don't understand the 2nd wild card Roth especially if a team is like 7-10 games up on the 2nd wild card they obviously don't deserve to be in the playoffs at that point...
