They even threw in a back to back in there between games two and three. TBH, I don't think it matters all that much. The playoffs are a war, and each team will arrive prepared to do battle no matter what.

You guys do start with an unfair advantage, but I don't care. I'm glad to see us playing in round 2!

For game one, I suppose you are right. But once the series starts, and the hits start coming, I think it all evens out. It will be fun, Johnny. May the best team win

Just thought I'd merged the threads - This should be a great series.

I am sure that the Rangers and Penguins will play each other with the same level of intensity and cleanliness that the Blue Jackets and Pens did. There will be some borderline plays to be sure, but there will be respect and not a lot of goalie running, after whistle scrums and certainly no diving.

Hockey as it should be played. In fact, I am sure James Neal and Brooks Orpik can take this series off. Same with Dorsett and Carcillo. No need for them at all.

I think this will be another 7 game series. Hopefully we'll be on the winning side.

Last time we met them in the playoffs was 08. Wasn't a good series for us at all.

Are you selling your soul to the devil or something? Pens play nice come on Neals due to snap any moment...

If Kneel is going to continue his scorching scoring pace, he can sit out as many games as he wishes.

In the first round, the Pens and Jackets both played it very clean (except Dubinskin in game 1 and Kneel a little in game 5) and hard. The Jackets started some chippiness out of the gate and the Pens did not respond. So they both left it at that. This series will not be the same. That is all I am saying.

The schedule sucks...but that's what happens when you play at MSG.
