I'm so pissed off about this game that I'm considering tuning out until the wild card game

That other brain fart of his was crazier, a ball bounced off the wall past him and he was holding his glove in his throwing hand, cost us a base and a run iirc. I have never seen that before.

Reds have won 8 of 10 and are only 1 game behind the Cards and 3 behind the Pirates.

This is going to get really interesting

Obviously the loss hurts, but you can't do anything but move on. Need to focus on taking this series.

Everyone also needs to remember that while Marte did make a costly mistake that cost us the game yesterday, it would probably be safe to say that we wouldn't be where we are without him.

Marte is having a heck of a season. He has the most triples in the league, third most stolen bases in the NL, top ten in runs scored, hits and WAR among position players in the NL. And he's doing all of this in only his first full season in the major league.

Should be a good game this afternoon. St. Louis could really use a strong outing from Lance Lynn. AJ has been very tough on the Cards. Still, I won't be too surprised if they rough him up today.

I agree, it's never a surprise when they rough anyone up.

Kind of interesting that Beltran isn't in the lineup. He's one of the few Cards who has had pretty good success against AJ in the past. Marte and Jones have pretty good history against Lynn.
