Scott Dixon returns to defend his win and we shall see who emerges in the crapshoot of picking the podium for IndyCar races. Michael Andretti was always a sure bet at Long Beach. He likes this place so maybe one of his drivers will take home the trophy.

Power, Hinchcliffe, Rahal, Pagenaud, and Montoya are the top for after all the combine practices.

I will be out all day and miss qualifying and knowing me, I will forget to put in my picks afterward. So, here's my crapshoot.

Looks like Pagenaud got his first win finally followed by Dixon and Castroneves.

For all the complaining about the FIA playing favorites, it's really clear by yesterday's result that Penske is Indy's darlings. That was utter BS. They've always done odd things in regards to rules, but to hand a win to a guy who broke the rules is pathetic.

And I like Simon. Always have. But he did not deserve that win. AT ALL. By contrast, the WEC 6 hours of Silverstone, a GTLM Aston got loose and cut the inside at Beckett's. He got a stop and go and he was already in last place. Pagenaud got the lead with his cut and nothing.

And that's to say nothing of the slap on the wrist warning for Chilton who cut turn 5 three times that I saw. One time which gained him a position.

Retroram52 & forty_three: 2 points each - got Pagenaud & Dixon out of position

As usual. Anybody can win in Indycar and makes picking the podium a bit of greater challenge. F-1 is getting there.
