This is a Saturday night race under the lights with cooler conditions. Ought to be interesting to see who emerges THIS week as the dominant car.

After the first practice, Tony Kanaan takes the fast lap followed by Dixon and RHR. All three of these drivers have done well at this track. RHR desperately needs a win.

Second practice Kanaan does it again followed by Dixon and Will Power. RHR falls off the pace.

Montoya is already out. Dixon and Kanaan are fighting out and Kanaan looks stout.

Newgarden takes over the lead in the pits followed by Castroneves and Kanaan. Kanaan looked so good and is now fading. This is anybody's race.

Brutal race for the guys who came into tonight leading the points.

A 1-2-3-4 finish for American drivers.

RHR, Newgarden, Karam (who heard several choice four letter words from Carpenter afterwards) & Rahal.

Apparently Karam is not making many friends in the paddock. Skunked again. The parity in IndyCar makes choosing the podium a difficult proposition. We have what four more races to get it remotely correct.

Out of the 9 races held at Rusty Wallace's speedway, Andretti has won 7 of them including RHR's win last evening.

I found it more than a little ironic that Carpenter was crying about someone sliding and not holding his line.

I have no problem with what Karam did. Shades of Senna. Senna would put his car in a place and left it up to you to decide if you wanted to crash or back out of it. And once you backed out, he owned you from that point forward. Not saying the kid is Senna reborn, but I respect any driver with balls that big.

See also; Rahal squeezing through the outside on Colletti. Him and Kimball lost bodywork and Graham got through. Sick move.

And what a run by Graham. Went down 2 laps twice, cut a tire and saved it, AND had a car that was stuck in 6th since about lap 75 and he went from 17th to top 4 TWICE. And if his team radio hadn't told him he just got second in the championship I bet he'd have run down Karam for the podium. He totally backed off once he got by Munoz.

Rahal and Karam with 5 to go would have certainly led to fireworks.
