After the Indy 500 running, this week-end, the IndyCar series is in Belle Isle, Detroit for two races on June 3 and June 4. This is a fun set of races because you do or you really do die on the island. The way this works, is anyone who wants to join the "Pick-the-Podium" fray has up to the time the teams start their engines to get your selections in. I know I'll be selecting my picks for each race. Good luck!

Rahal takes the pole for Race 1 setting a new track record but without the stupid penalty, Castroneves will give him a run for his money barring and first-few-laps mistakes. Sato, fresh off his 500 win, takes third. Race 1 is at 4:00pm Eastern.

Oops, I missed my picks. I'll catch Race two. Rahal is leading the first race.

Rahal takes the race with a dominating performance followed by Dixon for second and Hinchcliffe for third. Newgarden brought home fourth. Qualifications for Race two are tomorrow morning and hopefully I won't forget time and miss my selections.

Looks like Tacuma Sato takes the pole for Race 2 and apparently breaks Rahal's track record set two days hence.

Hinchcliffe, James

I'll go with Sato for the win, RHR second, Rahal third, and Hinchcliffe for fourth.

Rahal takes his second win in as many days. Newgarden was second with Power third and Sato fourth.
