Arrieta gets the nod. Hope we score a bunch!
i'm not sure what this is trying to say.BTW, Arrieta's contract has a player buy-out unless the Phils re-up him before the contract expires for twice his present salary ($20.2M) which would be $40.4 M after this season. Maybe the jack-wads running this franchise will do something smart for a change although I am not holding my breath.
yeah, i wasn't ready to concede this until that final out was on the board. still hope they can make a run, but it has to start with the hitting. To score six runs tonight, it seems the Phils had to put over 32 runners on base. At least we’ll get a win.

can't believe pivetta was blindsided by them moving him to the pen, or i shouldn't say blindsided, but he can't believe they are asking him to try something else out where he can do better than his current era.
you have no faith that the guy that hasn't pitched in the bigs since 2016 and hasn't found his footing upon his return this year won't turn it around now that he's in the very structured organization of the philadelphia phillies?Guess that’s why they did a dumpster dive for 8.42 Smyly.

Eflin removed after 57 pitches. Flex is an idiot!
Only when they have less than 15 hits!Phillies lineup is boring.

We score 9 runs to help our new ace! Maybe!Winning this series over the Pirates today depends on the success of dive acquisition, Drew Smyly, 1-5, 8.42.
