"I live this job year-to-year, because that is just how hard this job is," he says. "We really like it here. Until that changes, we don't really see anything else changing. Bellotti remembers his receivers coach occasionally trying to hijack the offense.

Given how many millions UCLA was throwing at him, apparently not.

And he is on record saying money isn't everything. The record also shows at one point he asked that instead of getting a raise the money went to the assistants pool.
