As Nebraska's been pretty solid at lately, they need to keep turnovers to a minimum.

They only had 5 against Mich St.

I can live with under 10.

Hopefully the PBA is an advantage for the Huskers tomorrow night. I have a feeling they'll need it

Games aren't played on charts, they're played on high-definition televisions.

So if the Huskers win every game they are relevant? How about if they only lose the last game of the season? Will they be relevant up to that loss, then be irrelevant?

:wtf:

Dang they better than us according to chart

Penn State likes to speed up the game and we like to slow it down.

The faster you play the more your statistics inflate. Nebraska would just much rather every Defensive and Offensive possession come down to the last 10 seconds on the shot clock. When we accomplish that, we win.

What it really all comes down to is we are really really good on Defense. One of the best Defensive teams in the B1G in fact.

Sadler used to have really good Defensive teams, but we never had any scorers. Now suddenly we have the best player in the country when the shot clock is running down as well as a 6'10" freak who can drain 3's.

I am not shitting ye when I say that we are a really good team. It took us a few games to mature, but we're really good.

It's about remaining relevant in regard to the NCAA Tournament.

Lose this home game and any relevance gained by the @ Northwestern, Illinois, and @ Michigan St wins will be in jeopardy.

They will have lost to Penn St twice and those will be considered bad losses.

Michigan St, Michigan, Iowa, Wisconsin, and Ohio St could all lose this game and remain relevant. Nebraska cannot.

They can only afford to lose 1 of the last 5, and that loss had better be either a road game or to Wisconsin.
Even then they'll likely need to win a Big 10 Tournament game.

I think we can afford to lose 2 of the last 6.....

But yes the 3 that we have to win are at home against Penn State, Purdue, and Northwestern.

We lose any of those 3 and we are toast. The fans better understand that too.

Hanging on to that 6th spot ahead of Minnesota is also important.

Minnesota, who hosts Illinois tonight, is 1/2 game behind Nebraska and finishes @ #24 Ohio St, home against #15 Iowa, @ #20 Michigan, and home against Penn St.

Minnesota (6-7)(17-9) is considered by many to be in with 3 more wins, or 2 more wins and a Big 10 Tourney win.

Lose 2 and a Big 10 Tourney win will be mandatory. Maybe even need 2 in the Tourney.
