It's being reported elsewhere as well. Probably wasn't a difficult decision in the end. You have to choose between a rock star, an egomaniac, and a successful local sports franchise owner.

Probably no major changes any time soon. Brandon will likely be the first to go. His primary job was essentially to make the "financial face" of the team attractive for potential buyers, so he really isn't needed anymore.

Yea I like this news now you know for sure they are staying in the Buffalo area. Also I like what he tried to do with the Sabres he spent money it may not of worked but he was invested in the team.

Successful local sports owner? He does own other teams besides the Sabres if I recall so that may be accurate.

Anyways, great news. Team needs to stay in Buffalo and Pegula is the one guy I think we can all count on for that.
