Florida, Wichita and Zona basically have the 3 other 1 seeds wrapped up. This is the order IMO for the final #1 seed.

1. Villanova winning out.
2. Wisconsin winning out.
3. Kansas winning out.
4. Michigan winning out.
5. ACC Tourney winner(Cuse, UVA, Duke)

Just my opinion, but I think that's how it shakes out.

No, No, No,

According to this know it all, Wisconsin has very little to play for tonight and you are just "going overboard with this shit and being silly".

Deceiving how? Eight straight in the Big 10 this season, including wins over the top 3 teams (2 of which were on the road) is simply not one bit "deceiving." Nor was the 16-0 streak where they took care of Florida, St Louis, Virginia, and so on. Nor was the stretch in the middle where Northwestern knocked them off and they couldn't buy a basket. The fact is, this team can literally beat anyone in the country when all cylanders are firing; it can also, like most teams, lose to much inferior competition when on a skid.

Please don't pretend that Nebraska is in any way in the class of Wisconsin, Michigan, or Michigan State; it isn't, period. Wisconsin has arguably the toughest schedule in the country this year, and they have 25 wins, including going 7-1 against the current top 25. Can Nebraska win this weekend? Sure, they have everything to play for in the confines of their home gym, whereas Wisconsin has very little to prove until the tournament at this point, and Nebraska has been playing very good defense as of late.

I like the Nebraska story and am rooting for them (outside vs WI), but let's not go overboard with this shit, OK? Just makes you look silly.

4. Michigan winning out.
2. Wisconsin winning out.
1. Villanova winning out.
5. ACC Tourney winner(if Cuse, UVA, or Duke)
3. Kansas winning out.

a 7 loss #1 seed?

That would be a very weak bracket if 7 loss teams are in the mix for a top seed

those 7 loss teams are tougher than a 3 loss big east team but im sure the committee will give it to nova anyway....

I agree, I think they would. I don't necessarily agree with that premise, but I absolutely see it.

What exactly did the 7 loss Michigan do outside of the Big 10 to justify that premise?

It would be one thing if Mich dominated the OOC games, but Michigan was pretty mediocre OOC.

That would suggest the exact opposite of the premise about a stronger conference excusing 7 losses.

4 ooc losses with 3 of those to teams projected to be 3 seeds or higher. and mind you i said they still need to win out as well....

All I know is Michigan lost to top 15 teams mostly OOC with one bad loss.. And Michigan would destroy Texas.. :suds:

If we can win out and win the Big12 Title again, we may sneak in as a 1 seed. No less thn 2 for us though.

You will need Nova to lose forsure and possibly Wisco and Michigan.

IF it's a Michigan vs. Wisconsin Final tomorrow, the committee will probably have two separate brackets ready. Winner gets the final #1 seed in the East, loser is the #2 seed in Wichita's bracket(midwest).

IF it's a UVA vs. Duke Final tomorrow, the winner is looking at the #2 seed in Florida's bracket(South) to play close to home. Loser either gets a 3 seed, or may be able to sneak in and take the #2 seed out west, which looked like Kansas until their loss last night.

That's how I think it plays out. If neither 4 win their conference tournaments Nova gets the #1 seed in the East.

Either way looks like there's a lot on the line today and tomorrow.

I would put Duke/Virginia, Iowa State and Louisville ahead of Michigan if any/all win out. And yes I may be weighing the two Michigan h2h match-ups too steeply. JMO.
