He was undersized and scrambled too often. And the partying was a red flag even before he got to the NFL. Considering him a top 10 prospect was a bit of a stretch.
I agree but we have seen undersized QB's that scramble do well. Like I said just no clue what he could have been because he threw his life away. I had him way down on my board but I hated his party attitude and saw a guy that wouldn't put in the time needed to be great.

Talent wasn't really Manziel's problem though. He just couldn't stop partying



Agreed somewhat but he is to small and can't read defenses. Not enough talent to be an NFL starter. Said it from day one and nothing has changed to make me believe he is capable of starting in the NFL with success. He played in an offense at Texas AM where he could do whatever he want and throw jump balls ti Mike Evans. It wasn't a complicated offense. He got away with it in college but no so much in the NFL.

Not true. His freshman year he said they played a pro style offense so he had to work in a huddle and from under center
