I think this is great for the Skins...A good contract....He is a good Special teamer, and a good locker room guy....Glad we kept him to finally get some continuity going..instead of going outsied the organization, we kept one of our own!!!!

I'm pleased that we are re-signing our own and Niles has been a solid Player for us. Minus a drop or two. He's still young, has improved his versatility with us as shown when JR was out last year and plays a strong role on STs.

As to the money, I haven't seen anyone blatantly calling out that it is an overpay. But I leave that to those of you who understand the $$$ better than I.

Agree, but it is definetly a reasonable contract and he did a good job filling in for the oft injured Reed...

Now Paulsen is overpaid IMO...plus..every time he catchs it...He puts it on the carpet....well at least in the important game deciding times.....I would love to punch that Fucker square in the face!!!!

Paul and Reed are the same type of TE. Paulsen needs to be upgraded. IMO we still need a TE that is actually willing to block. In Pauls defense, he is a joker, and not a run blocker. Unfortunately, Paul has failed to exploit defenses either through drops or by randomly falling with no one around.

we got a decent TE at a good price and he is one of our own . it was cheap so i like it

Paul's greatest weakness is run blocking. If he can improve on that, his contract will look dirt cheap.

Paul is not an inline TE thus, he won't be used much on offense. So in essence, you paid $10m for a ST guy. Personally, I think its a bad signing just like re-signing Riley, Jr. was a bad signing. We could have replaced Riley, Jr. with a one year cheaper option and still won 4 games and the same can be said for Paul. If your going to spend your FA dollars, do it wisely.
