Let's face it boys. Without Belichick running his defense Parcells was fair to middlin.

Without Ernie Adams and his "technology" Belichick is Marvin Lewis 2.0

Parcells betrayal to the Patriots is no more or no less than Belichick's to the Jets. The difference is that Belichick didn't take the Patriot's job during the week prior to a Super Bowl game.

Parcell's hardly coached the Patriots at all during the Super Bowl Game against the Packers. As a matter of fact, he did not want to win that game, by his own admission. He was already doing Jets work during the week at the Super Bowl. Then he took a private jet back and didn't return with the team.

He'll never be in the Patriots Hall of Fame. If they let him, it changes to the Hall of Shame.

Meh.

23 years coaching in the NFL and there is quite a few mediocre or even shitty seasons on his resume. It seems it would be much easier to say he is a lock if he'd have quit after the Jets gig instead of going through the motions (34-30) in Dallas just to take some of Jerrah's money.

That being said, he'll get in no problem.

If his Dallas years were early on like Belichik's Cleveland years ......

But they came after he was exalted.....

Parcell's just wanted to fit in with all the other cool kids (players/coaches) who have stolen Jerrah's$ After all it's the American way and the Clownboys are America's team (cough cough)

That's clever. Let's use that logic to review the Shittsburgh franchise.

Without steroids Chuck Noll gets fired after 3 winless seasons and the Squeelers win zero SBs in the 70's.

Without some of the crappiest officiating in SB history Bill Cowher has zero SB.

How am I doing so far?

The day will be wonderful when Pats fans realize they can apply this statement to Tom Bradys' career

It's a wonderful day for me then.
So when all is said and done and both BB and TB are laid to rest. Their head stones will read something like this; Here lies the Greatest Coach of All Time. Here lies the Greatest Player of All Time.

How will us NE fans live day in and day out without knowing what came first the chicken or the egg?

Career wise great coach. NE .500 sorry not HOF stats.

He, Bledsoe and Kraft absolutely saved the Patriots in Boston. He didn't stay around long enough to be honest. And he did skip out on the team to go to the Jets.

HOF? For sure.. Patriots HOF? Someday. There are other players I'd put in before.

Parcells was a good coach but I don't think he should be in the Patriots Hall of Fame.
