He knows there will be 0.00000 expectations there.

Not surprised. Make money.

If Bynum get his head back in the game, this will be a great signing. But thats the biggest "If" of all ifs.

Fuck it, im going out on a limb, and say Bynum will be focus with the Pacers. Something tells me, him being cut for the first time, has humbled him a little bit.

Im taking a risk here.

Bynum is done as a "focused" player. If he was capable of that he would have played hard for the Cavs and tried to work his way into a long deal.

At this point, whoever signs him is getting a player who could not care less about basketball if it was not for the checks. Good luck.

it low risk high reward imo. if he continues to be a bum he sits at the end of the bench. nice insurance if the bigs get in foul trouble

How is it a stupid move? They have nothing to lose by signing Bynum. If he stay focus, then they get help. If he acts up, then they can bench or cut him. It will not mess up this team. It only can help them.

Low risk, high reward!

How the hell are they desperate?

They are signing a player just to keep a rival team from signing him. They are risking implosion, as an LBJ fan I actually feel relief.

LOL Bynum wants to play minutes and has been nothing but a distraction to every team he has been on for several years. This is disaster written all over it, Heat fans sigh of relief this is actually the most relieving feeling I have had this year in relation to the ECF.

stupid move. They had no need for him really as they already have hibbert

And this is where the problem begins, he wants to start, not just be some puppet. But maybe he hates basketball so much he is willing to take the small contract just to not play and both sides are happy about that.

If this goes comes to fruition I really think that Bynum and the Pacers have an agreement that he will not play or even need to show up for meetings. They are just paying him not to be a Heat.

This story line is so hilarious I had to explain it to my gf.

I will argue one of your points though. If Bynum wants to start like you said, then why in the hell will he sign with the Pacers, knowing they already have a legit center?

The boy is an asshole, but he isnt slow.

I covered that, a mutual agreement to just stay off the courts. IND is helped by MIA not being helped and Bynum does not like basketball. Win win.

At your other statement of not responding, all of my thoughts are very legitimate. Inarguable yes, that is what makes them legit.
