You are off the hook CTP

So you're just putting it out there that I said time and time again all year that we'd be great this season and go deep, and can't back it up.

This is what happens when you try and talk about CBB.

Proud the boys made it past St. Joe's. They are a team that very much resembles the Ducks in what they try to accomplish. It was a bit of a dog fight with both teams shooting like garbage for stretches. I just hope the team can find a rhythm against Duke. If they play like they did yesterday they won't make the EE.

Yeah, USC is in kind of a unique position that I can't remember ever having in basketball. Too many talented players with more on the way. Looks like those 3 are all leaving to places where they will play more.

Not the worst problem to have.

Happy that they extended Enfield until 2021. That kind of stability will help recruiting.

Losing Reinhardt is a blow but a survivable one with Aaron being eligible next year and with what I think Mathews and Melton will contribute immediately.

Jacobs going to the draft would be a much tougher blow. He hasn't hired an agent so a good chance he still comes back. I'm hoping so. Going to the draft would be pretty dumb for Jacobs, he's not likely a 1st round selection so why the hell would you leave? I remember when Dedmon left early and went undrafted thinking that was so dumb.

I agree. Not sure he'd even be a 2nd round pick. Someone would take him as an undrafted free agent (in fact, there would probably a few teams hoping he's not drafted, just so they could do that) and he'd probably make the team. But if he comes back, he could play himself into at least a 2nd round and maybe even a first round pick. A lot more money for him than as an undrafted FA.

Potential depth chart for AZ:

G- Kobi Simmons- Parker-Jackson Cartwright
G- Allonzo Trier- Kadeem Allen
F- Terrance Ferguson- Rawle Alkins
F- Ray Smith- Lauri Markkanen
C- Dusan Ristic- Chance Comanche

Bringing 2 five stars off the bench would be unreal, and that starting five would be terrific. Comanche probably splits mins with Dusan and same w/Ray & Lauri. PJC probably wouldn't even get any mins.

Did Ferguson make his decision yet? Word was he was going to last week, but never did.

He will announce his pick (AZ) soon.
JJ looks like he's KU bound.

I'm perfectly OK with landing Ferg and having Allonzo return with four 5 star recruits if this is how it does play out indeed.

Gary Parrish has four Pac-12 teams in the top 15 in his way too early rankings for next season.

8. Oregon
9. Arizona
11. UCLA
14. USC

I think Oregon and Arizona will finish the year both in the top 6 with whoever wins the conf getting a #1 seed and 2nd getting a 2 seed. CBB is gonna be deeeep next year.
